Last week, the H2Bay Expo 2024, organised by Hyppo, concluded with tremendous success, bringing together industry leaders, innovators, and end users in the field of hydrogen technology. The event, held at Bay Studios Swansea, attracted a diverse audience eager to explore and discuss the latest advancements in hydrogen energy.
The expo featured a wide array of exhibitors, each showcasing cutting-edge technologies and solutions aimed at advancing the hydrogen economy in transport and remote power markets. From hydrogen fuel cells and vehicles to refuelling systems and applications, the exhibition floor was a hub of innovation, collaboration, and networking.
The entire event was powered by hydrogen, from freshly cooked food and refrigerated drinks to a live music stage and film production set. Attendees were able to drive hydrogen fuel cell cars and get to see the future of zero emission haulage, public transport and even council service vehicles.
Hyppo extends its sincere gratitude to all the exhibitors for their invaluable contributions. The dedication and passion from companies working in the hydrogen economy gave attendees a comprehensive understanding of the current state and future potential of hydrogen technology. We particularly enjoyed the honest conversations about the future of the market and collaboration between organisations.
Special thanks also go to the attendees, whose curiosity and engagement were crucial to the event’s vibrant atmosphere. Their active participation in discussions, displays, and networking sessions fostered a collaborative environment, essential for driving the industry forward. For many, this was the first time that they were able to experience hydrogen at work and the feedback for the technology has been overwhelming.
Due to popular demand, Hyppo has already fixed the date for next year’s hydrogen expo and demo day for 17th July 2025, (add to your calendar) which promises to be even bigger and better. To stay updated on upcoming events and the latest developments in hydrogen technology, attendees are invited to sign up for Hyppo’s newsletter.
Hyppo encourages all participants to share their thoughts and suggestions through the feedback survey available Insights from this survey will help in refining future events to better meet the needs of the hydrogen community.
