Hydrogen Cymru 2025 Conference

Hyppo Hydrogen CEO Chris Foxall to Speak at Hydrogen Cymru 2025 Conference

Hyppo Hydrogen Solutions is excited to announce that CEO and Co-Founder, Chris Foxall, will be among the distinguished speakers at the upcoming Hydrogen Cymru 2025 conference. The one-day event, taking place on 3 July 2025 at the Mercure Holland House Hotel in Cardiff, will bring together key figures in the hydrogen industry to discuss the future of hydrogen in Wales and the role it can play in accelerating the transition to net-zero emissions.

The Hydrogen Cymru conference is set to feature an impressive lineup of speakers, with industry leaders, innovators, and government representatives joining to share their insights on how hydrogen can drive decarbonisation across transport, industry, and heating sectors. This year’s event will include over 200 attendees, 12 speakers, and 4 panel discussions aimed at exploring the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities within the hydrogen sector.

As the hydrogen landscape continues to evolve, Wales has emerged as a key player in this transformation. Large-scale green hydrogen production facilities, such as HyBont in Bridgend and Protium’s expanding production capacity, are paving the way for Wales to become a hydrogen hub. Chris Foxall will be speaking as part of the Session 2: Progression of the Hydrogen Industry, where he will join other thought leaders in a panel discussion focused on the commercialisation and expansion of hydrogen technologies.

“We’re thrilled to have Chris Foxall represent Hyppo Hydrogen Solutions at Hydrogen Cymru 2025,” said a spokesperson from Hyppo Hydrogen. “As a company committed to pioneering clean energy solutions, Hyppo is proud to contribute to the important conversations happening around hydrogen’s role in a sustainable future. Chris’ insights into the development of hydrogen technologies and commercialisation will be invaluable for shaping the conversation moving forward.”

The event will feature a variety of sessions, including the Progression of the Hydrogen Industry panel, which will focus on advancing hydrogen production, distribution, and integration into different sectors. Other notable sessions include discussions on Wales’ approach to hydrogen and commercialising hydrogen research, with experts such as Zoe Harrison, David Caine, and Gareth Rogers also providing their perspectives.

Attendees will have ample opportunities to network with leading hydrogen industry professionals, learn about the latest projects, and explore how hydrogen can be leveraged to help meet climate targets and drive economic growth.
